What is Travelogue-blog.com?
Travelogue-blog.com is a web site where any user can start his own travel related Blog (web log).

What is a Blog?
A Blog is an internet Diary. Once you create a Blog, your entries will be shown in order of creation. Your last entry will be always shown at the top of your Blog. Your second latest entry will be shown bellow it, and so on. Pages will be automatically generated. Go to Wikipedia for a detailed description of Blogs.

Does my blog have to be travel related?
Yes. Although from time to time you may add a post about something else, most of your posts have to be about travel. This includes anything that has to do with travels: site attractions, customs, culture, arts, cuisine, and so on.

How do I start a blog?
Register and follow the instructions. once you complete the registration an Email will be sent to your Email address. Click the link, and you will access a page with two links. One to access your new Blog and another to administer it.

Do I need any technical background to manage my blog?
No. If you can use a web browser, you can create and manage your own blog.

How do I create a post?
Go to your "Administration Page", enter your username and password, click on "manage", under the "manage posts" title you will see a "new post" link, click on it and voila, start bogging. (Note: You need to select a "category" for your post. You better create the categories first, see bellow)

How do I change a post?
On your "Manage page" (see above), click on the "post" link, and on the following page click on your post. (If you can't see the post, select the month you created it)

What are categories for?
A category should be used to identify a country or region you plan to talk about. Create a category for each country or region you want to cover.

How do I upload a picture?
Click on the "Resource Center" link on the navigation bar at the top of your "Administration Page". Create a "New Album" first, and then click on "New Resource". On the following page, click on the "Examinate" button, browse your local files, and select the picture. Add a description and click on the "add" button at the bottom of the page.

What format should my pictures be?
You should use ".jpg" files with a maximum size of 70 Kb, and a format of no more than 450x450 pixels.

How do I insert a picture to a post?
Go to your "New post" page (See above), and click on the button above the text field called "insert resource". A new window will open, select your picture.
